Kensington I

Working with architects Finkernagel Ross, the garden includes a row of espaliered ornamental pear trees, noted for their spring blossom and ability to hold their leaves late into autumn, planted into a clipped box hedge that returns on either side.

An artificial lawn is bordered by shot sawn sandstone paving and iroko trellis.

Three mature olive trees were placed in bespoke iroko pots on the lower terrace, while two silver birch trees were planted in a lower ground courtyard and finished with a grey slate mulch.

The garden is constantly on show so all trees at each level are carefully lit at night.
